Contest
Leaders Igniting Generational Healing and Transformation (LIGHT) is calling for submissions of art, letters, stories, poetry, and other creative works for the second issue of a biannual literary journal in public health.
We invite everyone to share how they view healing in mental health following the pandemic. The deadline to submit via Submittable is by November 1, 2022, at 11:59 PM CST. There is no entry fee! Prize money (1st: $500, 2nd: $375, 3rd: $125) will be given to the top three contestants of each category.

The 2022 Consortium for Cancer Implementation Science (CCIS) Meeting
From October 12th-13th, 2022, the Consortium for Cancer Implementation Science (CCIS) will hold their annual meeting virtually. 29th to August 2nd, the 24th International AIDS Conference will take place in Montreal, Canada, and virtually. This year’s meeting will focus on the evolution of efforts to enhance equity; mentoring, training, and diversifying the workforce; and multisectoral approach and collaboration. Dr. Juliet Iwelunmor will participate in the panel discussion on Evolution of Efforts to Enhance Equity as it relates to population health and translation of evidence-based practices. This panel will specifically take place on Wednesday, October 12 from 10:30 am – 11:45 pm CST.
